I have been planning this for a long time. If you have noticed I have on the side of my blog the Pantene Beautiful Lengths link to where you could donate your hair for women who have lost theirs do to cancer. It all started when a young girl in my ward cut her long hair off and donated it. Then a few weeks later I watched the Oprah show and it had Hilary Swank on it and she and others donated their hair for woman and who have cancer and are in need of wigs. And that is when it hit me. I knew I wanted to do that. I thought that was such a wonderful gift you could give to someone that was in need. So I pledged to the website that I would do it. AND I DID IT!!!! Kelsey ended up cutting 11 inches off! I didn't even know my hair was that long. So here is a picture of Kelsey cutting it off.
And here is a shot of me in my new haircut. (I make the worst subject to photograph. That is why I prefer the other side of the camera).
I have been wanting to do this for so long. Last time I had hair this short was in high school. Now I can walk out of the house with some style to my hair. I love it!!! And I feel so much better doing it because it was for a good cause. Hopefully some women will be able to enjoy it who is in need.
And an update of Wyatt potty training. He is doing great!! Not one accident and he does it all by himself. Why didn't I do it sooner.

Hey I'm doing the same thing. We think alike. My hair is long enough now and driving me crazy, but I just can't seem to get around to makeing an apointment. You're hair cut is great.

Your hair is so so cute! I love it, love it... I have always been so jealous that you can do short hair cuts. I am just now trying to grow my hair back.
You did it! 11 inches, that is a lot to donate, good job! So I asked Mackenzie if she wanted to donate some of her hair (after explaining it in kid terms and showing your pictures) and she freaked out, lol. She was not cool with the idea at all. Her hair is so long, I thought it would be nice, apparently not.
