Last month I had the pleasure of photographing Kacey and JJ's wedding. Kacey had such cute style during their engagement shoot that I'd really been looking forward to the wedding. It did not disappoint! My favorite location, a kick-back family, adorable details, and ecstatic newlyweds made for one beautiful day. Their energy was so much fun to capture- it reminded me of when Landon and I walked through those same metal doors.
To the happy couple, thank you for making me a part of your special day!
I finally feel I am back to normal. Or should say my working life. I was put on hold because of my dying computer. So after searching and searching I found one that I like. Still getting used to it. I now feel that I was totally in the dark ages with my old beast. But I am back and up and running.....hopefully.
A couple months back I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Joshua and Brittany Childs. They were such a cute couple. And Brittany was such a beautiful bride! The whole family was such a delight to be around. Landon and I really enjoyed working with them.
I absolutely feel in love with this picture. I pure grandparent moment indulged in their grandchild.
Just a little sneak peek to the last wedding of the year! My favorite part of the wedding is when they walk out hand in hand for the first time as husband and wife. The way they look at each other We get to see just speck of what they feel (it reminds me of my special moment with my groom....my favorite moment)
Pat and Brittany are finally married!!! I had such a fun time shooting their wedding. It was the first time Lydia I worked together on a wedding and I thought it went really well. I really enjoyed this wedding. The wedding party was great! The bride and groom....wonderful. Little did I know that on Friday (the day of the wedding) it was 08-08-08. It didn't come together until I got to the San Diego Temple and I was told that there was 28 weddings. If anyone of you know about or have seen the San Diego Temple (it's gorgeous)but not alot of picture spots. However, it all came together and it was beautiful!
Pat had written Brittany a letter to her and had someone give it to her while she was getting ready. It was so cute.
So long story short, two years ago (well, longer then that) when I really wanted to start wedding photography I would go and shadow other photographers. For April and Wes Aleman, Rhead Lown was their wedding photographer and I happened to know him personally so I asked if I could shadow him. He said "yes". He is really a nice guy and a great photographer. However, back then I didn't have a website nor a blog. And today while the boys were taking their naps I saw that April commented on my blog. And I thought to myself.....I have never really played or did anything with their pictures. (I even hope you have some of these, if not call me and I will get you these). So that is what I did, played with the pictures. And I really like these. I love the beach with the brides and grooms. So heres to you April and Wes! (two years later). You guys are so cute and fun. We really need to hang out again! This is my favorite shoot, them looking out to the water. I don't know why, but I just love the contrast between the color and black and white photos. (Yes it's the same picture)
