for the love of water

So the other day Wyatt was throwing a fit as were driving home, and as we were pulling in he said he wanted to water the grass. ( in other words he wanted to water....himself) So I said "OK". But all I could think about was that the cars passing by were thinking I was a terrible mother, for it was only like 65 degrees outside. However, my son was as happy as possible and wasn't driving me crazy. He was so cute I even took some pictures. You could see the coldness on him. Here we have him watering his chest. He did enjoy that.
And of course how could a little boy go without doing something to his manhood. Yes he had to water it. Maybe he got the concept....if you water it, it will grow. And him drinking the water. And him filtering the water through his nose. That I had a good laugh at.About the fifth time around of doing that routine he called it quits. Luckily as of now, he's not sick.

our thanksgiving weekend

Saturday we stared our Christmas traditions. It's been a tradition on my side of the family that we get our x-mas tree Thanksgiving weekend, so we got one, and tried to put up the lights. (I hate that part and I always get stuck with that job.) But it was so cute when Shane started to play with all the lights. It was all shiny and bright.....he couldn't resist. And on Landon's side of the traditions it was ( and he thinks he has to carry it on, which it one of my least favorites) is that we all sleep under the Christmas tree the first night. So we did. I'll have to say, I did sleep better then I thought I would.
On Sunday my dad came over and we had our little Thanksgiving dinner with him (expect we did tri-tip instead). We got out the race cars for the boys to play with.....all the boys. Wyatt and Shane were going crazy, it was really funny. It was so funny watching Shane trying to keep an eye on the cars as he tries to catch one. That I wish I had a video camera for.
OK how cute is that. I love this stage. Shane is the happiest baby ever..... I love him!!

please to announce mr. and mrs. holland

I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding for the newly Mr. and Mrs. Holland. They were married at the Redlands Temple on Saturday and it was just beautiful. My favorite part of shooting this wedding was that I could totally feel the excitement and love that the Bride and Groom had for each other. The reception was the best part. They had a full on party, it was great.

I love this picture of him lifting her up and dancing in the middle of everyone else. It was as if no one was around and it was just them alone. I was so glad that I was able to catch that!

Thank you so much for letting me part of your day! You guys look so good!

my beautiful bride

I finally was able to finish my bridal shots for my up coming wedding. Between babysitting my grandma and being mom, I found it kind of a struggle. There is something about the white dress that makes any girl look like a million dollars. I loved this photo shoot because it's not your topical bridal shot background. We went to the Orange County Court house in downtown Santa Ana and the streets around it. It was so fun, the bride was totally energetic and up to doing anything out of the ordinary and I just loved the results of this shoot. I'm so excited for the wedding day!

i love dressing them up

So for Halloween Wyatt was a pirate and Shane was a vampire. Usually I would think that a vampire for a 9 1/2 month old would be odd, but I couldn't resist with his vampire teeth and all. I tried to get a good shot of them with his outfit. We were going to do Joe Dirt because of his hair, but a vampire was still my favorite.

I love how Wyatt's face looks in this picture. All night long, he was always touching Shanes hair. It was cute.
